Coach's Corner 2nd June, Season 2010

Tune in weekly for Fitzy’s view of the game.

Sandringham v North Ballarat Roosters @ Trevor Baker Oval 2pm
•    Sandringham has been one of the great clubs over the decade with 4 premierships between 2000 - 2010
•    Been a model that the Roosters have rated very highly
•    Very happy to be able to travel down to Sandringham and come back with a win
•    Congratulations to Sandringham Football Club in regards to the development of their social club
•    The change rooms being very spacious
•    Pleased with 1st quarter performance by Roosters
•    Sandringham fought back well in the 2nd
•    From then on the game was tight
•    Pleased with Corey Jones effort
•    Pleased with Josh Smith back and forward
•    Stevie Clifton after having a good game for Victoria’s team over in Perth played another good game
•    Shaune Moloney was excellent down back, especially 1st half
•    Marcus White did very well with his run with role in the midfield
•    We were very pleased with Ed Lowers performance in the midfield, he was very strong without the ball
•    23rd player rule which is a great innovation from AFL Victoria provided another opportunity for Ollie Tate to experience senior VFL football. Ollie had 54% of the game and was quite impressive.

This Week North Ballarat v Geelong @ Eureka Stadium, Sunday 6th June 2pm
•    Reserves play the Northern Bullants at Visy Park 10am start on Saturday 5 June
•    Roosters play Geelong at Eureka Stadium 2pm start on Sunday 6 June
