Roosters to charge for Ballarat games this season

Footy fans heading along to North Ballarat Roosters games this season will have to pay an entry fee for the first time in seven years. Club chief executive officer Mark Patterson announced the club would revert to traditional ground entry admittance charges this year, after a six-year gold-coin donation program.

Selkirk Roosters announce 2012 list

The Selkirk Roosters have finalised their playing list for the 2012 season. Inclusions include the return of premiership players Michael Searl and Paul McMahon, ex North Ballarat Rebels player Matt Austin who has spent the past few years with the Brisbane Lions and Rebels 2011 Best & Fairest winner Coleman Schache.

North Melbourne role boosts links with Ballarat

The link between Ballarat and the North Melbourne Football Club continues to grow, with the appointment of the first ever Ballarat-based Kangaroos employee. Mitch Jenkins, the current North Ballarat City operations and administration officer, has been appointed as an official Kangaroos staff member.
